The naturally aspirated, new 4-cylinder 2.4L engine achieves 174kW, up from 152kW and 2L in the outgoing model. Strap in and put pedal to the metal to embrace the adrenaline.
Rear-wheel drive
A true sports car, GR86 sends power to the rear wheels for optimal handling and steering. Hit the apex and feather the pedal to exit with oversteer perfection.
Improved torque
The all-new powertrain significantly reduces torque dip. With 250Nm at 3,700rpm, GR86 hits its peak at lower RPMs for linear acceleration and a lengthier surge.

Perfectly balanced
The ‘boxer’ engine sits low to the ground, with lightweight materials for an ultra-low centre of gravity. Torsional rigidity gets a 50% increase for perfectly weighted steering and maximum responsiveness.
Precision braking
The stopping power you need to take on winding mountain roads with confidence. High performance ventilated brakes, Anti-lock Brake System, Automatic Emergency Braking and enhanced Vehicle Stability Control for added safety[S1].
