Back to our roots

Heritage design positions LandCruiser Prado as a full-scale off-roader, blending modern looks with the wisdom of LandCruiser predecessors and drawing inspiration from the 70 Series and iconic FJ40.

Distinctly Aussie

A nod to Australia’s diverse landscape, the introduction of ‘Tanami Taupe’ and ‘Ningaloo Blue’ two-tone exterior colours[P14] calls back to the legacy of LandCruiser.

Room for all

This large SUV isn’t all talk – with a versatile 7-seater configuration (GXL, VX and Kakadu), you’ll always be sure that no one and nothing will ever get left behind. Foldable third-row seats allow for extra cargo space when needed.

Cruise in comfort

Stay connected with USB ports and wireless charging pads[B25] to keep your devices powered throughout your journey. And while you’re at it, enjoy the scenic views of your surroundings with the moonroof variations on Altitude and Kakadu grades.

PERFORMANCE

Cover more ground

Featuring a robust engine, refined suspension and increased manoeuvrability, the LandCruiser Prado boasts off-roading prowess, ready to take it to the next level and conquer the most rugged landscapes.

Stay on track

Electric Power Steering (EPS) not only ensures light steering force at low speeds and straight-line stability at high speeds but also enables Lane Departure Alert[B12], designed to help you from drifting or departing your lane.

Off-road to impress

Toyota’s brand-new Stabiliser Disconnect Mechanism (SDM) on the Altitude grade allows drivers to switch the front stabiliser between ‘locked’ and ‘free’ for extended wheel articulation, boosting off-road capabilities.

Tow like a pro

LandCruiser Prado’s braked towing capacity has increased to 3,500kg[G6][K12]. From boats to trailers and caravans, bring what you need for the ultimate road trip.

Power unlocked

A 2.8L four-cylinder diesel powertrain is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Designed on the TNGA-F platform, frame and overall rigidity have been increased by approx. 50% and 30% respectively compared to its predecessor, for enhanced manoeuvrability.

TECHNOLOGY

The urge to explore

With cutting-edge technology, LandCruiser Prado empowers adventurers to embark on journeys that fuel a sense of wonder and discovery, knowing that everything else is taken care of.

PCSS alerts you when a frontal collision is likely with another vehicle, pedestrian, or (during daylight) a cyclist. If a possible collision is detected, the vehicle will assist in applying brake pressure to help mitigate or prevent an accident[S1].

Automatic High Beam

At night, the Automatic High Beam system will switch between high beam and low beam to ensure the best possible visibility for you and everyone else on the road[S1].

Road Sign Assist
(Speed Signs Only)

To help you stay aware of the current speed limit, front-mounted smart cameras recognise certain Australian speed signs and alert you when it’s time to change your speed[S1].

Lane Departure Alert

LandCruiser Prado’s Lane Departure Alert [B12] system is designed to sense when you are veering out of your lane and adds steering effort and a warning to help you stay on course[S1].

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Using a host of safety sensors, DRCC helps to keep you moving at a pre-selected speed by accelerating and decelerating to maintain a gap with the traffic in front[S1].
